The Story of Horsin Around Saddles Tack & More
God, Family, Country & Horses
Here at Horsin Around Saddles Tack & More we are working hard to be a well-renowned online store. Our Goal is to continually featured a variety of high-quality and affordable products.
Why? because there are some things more important than money.
To be completely honest - I just want to continue being around horses and horse people and offer the best, honest, rock bottom prices to my peeps.
In addition to the horse tack and good horsey things, you can pick up woodwork made by my husband. He's the most manly man I've ever met. As well, you can pick up a signed copy of his latest best-selling novel. If you like a good book that refuses to be put down, it's a must have.
Our passion for excellence has driven us from the beginning, and continues to drive us into the future. The team at Horsin' Around Saddles Tack & More knows that every product counts, and we strive to make the entire shopping experience as rewarding and fun as possible.
If something sounds funny or literally impossible, it might be just us horsin' around. Don't think that means we're not serious. We just have to live up to our name.
Now A little bit about Me.
I grew up around horses. My mother was a horse woman and still is. Horses are in her blood and I got the horse gene too.
I love everything about them, from their smell to the uniqueness of their spirit.
I was sitting on a horse and riding before I could walk.
In my late teens and 20's I began teaching people to ride and even helped put myself through college by training horses and dogs....
Oh those were the days, I could ride anything and even when I couldn't I learned and sought out experts to teach me.
There is always more to learn!
YES I even I love the sassy uniqueness of each of us horse people!
We can be quirky and ornery, but we can learn from each other, and I am glad there is always more to learn about people.
I also learned
These magnificent, tender animals always have something to teach us.
I am a better person because of horses.
As a home-school mom and my kids growing up and moving on, I realized I aged and I cannot do all the things I could before, and faced hip surgery I realized I had to do something to continue being part of the horse world, so I took a page from my mom, AGAIN and started learning tack, I may not be able to do all the things I used to but I am not ready to be put down. Maybe just put out to pasture a little bit :) just like those horses that get hurt early on, or age out of being "useful," I am still useful and hopefully as this new adventure begins I can be a blessing to those just starting out, or who are still able to ride.
